What We Give, a Pennsylvania nonprofit cooperative corporation, was launched in 2002 with a total inventory of 37,000 books. Since then we have worked hard to improve our site, store, performance, and inventory which now includes over 7,100,000 continually augmented books, calendars, CDs, DVDs and gifts.

What We Give donates books to disadvantaged schools, orphanages, veterans’ facilities, retirement homes and prisons. We’re always interested in ideas which promote reading.
